Bead Weaving

Favorite Books

  • Beaded Allure: designs are simple and beautiful. No beading knowledge required. I have the kindle edition so that if I feel inspired I can check my resources on the go. Kindle edition is easy to navigate.
  • Mastering Beadwork: learn not only the basics but preventing problems, techniques for a more polished finish and alternatives to patterns to encourage creative bead play. I keep the kindle edition as an on the go bead reference.
  • The Beader's Guide to Jewelry Design: this book covers all the elements of beaded jewelry design similar to an art class but also includes how to best flatter body and face shapes. There are lots of inspiring examples of how even a slight change can alter the overall work in a variety of color and bead styles. This book has a wealth of good information.
